Our poster would obviously be incomplete without the autograph of one of the racers who started it all – Jay Halsey!
In 1985 at the Ranch Pit Stop in Del Mar, California, the first ever 1:10 scale IFMAR World Championships were held. After 8 rounds of qualifying in the Stock Class with his Team Associated RC10, Halsey found himself 6th on the starting grid for the A-Mains. He would then manage to go 1/1/2 in the three races to seal his victory.
